In the event that a faculty member believes a student has violated the Academic Integrity policy, the faculty member should notify the student of the allegation, confer with the student over the allegation, and thirdly, report the outcome of the allegation to the Dean of Students Office.

<strong>First: Notify a Student</strong> of your intent to proceed with an <abbr title=”Academic Integrity”>AI</abbr> violation.

<strong>Second: Conference</strong>
The instructor will schedule a conference with the student.  <a title=”Faculty-Student Joint Conference” href=””>Faculty-Student Joint Conference</a> outlines for the proper sequence of events.

<strong>Third: Report an Alleged <abbr title=”Academic Integrity”>AI</abbr> Violation</strong> to the Dean of Students

<strong>Fourth: Hearing</strong>
If disagreement between faculty and student exists concerning the allegation, a Hearing will be conducted.

<strong>Fifth:  Appeal</strong>
Based on the outcome of the Hearing, an Appeal may be made.
